Rick Davy is the Founder and Director of BK Style Foundation (BKSF) and the Creative Director and Producer of Fashion Week Brooklyn (FWBK). Rick is originally from Trinidad and spent years traveling between New York and Montreal while training to be a professional dancer.

Collaborate closely with marketing team to understand creative needs to support overall brand strategy and activation from new launches to evergreen campaigns.
Ensure a high level of excellence in concept, design, photographic art direction, supervision of retouching, supervision of production, and campaign execution to ensure consistency and cohesiveness.
Lead the Creative Ideation and Development of Campaign concepts from briefing to final release, supporting a full consistent 360 activation lens for every new product launch and promotion (Digital, Print, Point of Sale, Experiential, Out of Home).
Oversee vendors including photographers, directors, illustrators, animators and external agencies to help bring all new campaigns to life.
Be hands on in talent resourcing, development and relationships/communications with outside agencies.
Collaborate with the brand team ensure all creative deliverables are executed on time & in budget.
Maintain brand differentiation by staying true to the brand values and strategy yet staying up to date and infusing the work with beauty, fashion, music, art and other cultural movements – keeping it fresh, edgy and new.
Optimize the Brand Guidelines and work with the team to ensure all ongoing projects remain consistent to the approved look and feel; partner with in-house design team & outside agency partners to maintain a high level of design and creative excellence and consistency across all brand touchpoints from digital to physical.
Create content with an understanding of the marketing funnel; ability to leverage existing data, metrics, and campaign learnings to inform the creative work and pivot when needed; partner with marketing team to continually optimize content and align with key stakeholders across all levels of the brand/company.
Develop direct reports: challenge them to create their best work, motivate, mentor, assist in goal setting, provide development opportunities and performance feedback.
Lead with positivity; continually uphold the culture of teamwork and collaboration
Design and partner with Brands/Company/PR agency on events such as fashion show production, special events, product launches including high jewelry, boutique opening concepts and VIP client experience programs
Partner on the conceptualizing of strategic events linked to brand/company objectives to support its business goals.
Work cross functionally to conceptualize the most innovative and best in class events that can be tailored for press, consumer and internal
Work cross functionally to develop and plan best practice strategies and ensure project taskforces are clear on deliverables, timelines and roles and responsibilities.
Develop and manage the overall event processes and proactively develop various components (including event concept, décor, entertainment, social activations, etc.) involving key stake holders
Act as central point of contact for Market PR teams on event concept and delivery and communication of the constituents of the brief.
Source and manage production companies, agencies and vendors to ensure they are meeting the specific design direction and guidelines that are in line with brand/company strategy, brand, image & budget
Foster and maintain relationships within the events industry and appropriate event vendors

Create and implement strategic client brand marketing plans to strengthen the brand’s image and increase brand awareness and penetration. Establish omni-channel marketing best practices to keep the brand current of emerging industry trends, conduct research, and analyze trends to recommend innovative brand experiences

The ability to secure talent is dependent on the precise need of each client and project, working with agents representing talents across the globe.
Communicating with secure relationship with models agencies, talent agencies, celebrity publicists and managers, brands and publishers across the globe to secure talent for all projects. Securing and book talent across multiple platforms, with a focus on fashion, art, and film/TV-related projects.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with talent representatives, to pitch and book talent for campaign, fashion film and TV appearances and interviews across multiple. Coordinate celebrity appearances and act as liaison between talent representation clients stay abreast of pop culture and upcoming entertainment events and work with team to translate them into booking opportunities.
Talent manager for company, individual, and businesses. Manager all aspect of talent, signing clients, and negotiating deals, booking gigs.
